Housekeeper

Summary Alston Cleaning is hiring experienced housekeeping and commercial cleaning professionals to join our growing field team. This role is focused on detailed, consistent cleaning across residential and commercial environments, including routine housekeeping, janitorial, and specialty services. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for individuals who already understand the expectations of professional cleaning and can deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision. Our team is cross-trained across service areas, giving you the opportunity to expand your skill set and grow into advanced roles within the company. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate: Has strong experience in housekeeping and/or commercial janitorial cleaning Takes pride in delivering detailed, high-quality work Is reliable, punctual, and consistent Works efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team Communicates professionally with clients and coworkers Has a positive, customer-first attitude Is organized and able to follow systems and checklists Is open to learning additional services (carpet cleaning, floor care, etc.) Maintains a clean, professional appearance on job sites Responsibilities Perform routine housekeeping and janitorial cleaning tasks , including: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing Restroom and kitchen cleaning Trash removal and restocking supplies Surface disinfection and high-touch area cleaning Follow company cleaning systems, checklists, and quality standards Maintain consistency across recurring residential and commercial accounts Identify and report maintenance issues or areas needing attention Communicate clearly with clients and team members Keep accurate service notes and job records Represent Alston Cleaning professionally at all times Requirements Minimum 1 year of professional housekeeping or janitorial experience (2+ preferred) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work on your feet and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Strong time management and ability to stay on schedule Basic comfort using a smartphone for job tracking and communication Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Preferred (Not Required) Experience with commercial accounts or recurring maintenance cleaning Experience with floor care, carpet cleaning, or specialty services Leadership potential or interest in training others Why Work With Us Flexible scheduling with consistent work opportunities Direct communication with ownership — no corporate layers Opportunities to grow into lead, trainer, or management roles Ongoing skill development across multiple cleaning services A team culture built on accountability, quality, and professionalism If you take pride in your work, enjoy creating clean and organized spaces, and want to grow with a company that values reliability and high standards — we'd like to meet you.
