Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Floor Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for all resident, guests, and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to care, hospitality and an eye for detail, making it essential for the overall home-like environment. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and common areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies, including toiletries. Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist in the organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Provide exceptional care and service by responding to resident needs and request in a friendly manner. Assist with getting residents' supplies needed for hygiene purposes and reminding residents to perform hygiene tasks. Assist in the kitchen with cleaning and meal service if needed. Skills Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus. Proficiency in floor care techniques and equipment usage. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and thoroughly. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to answer phones and transfers calls when needed.
