Housekeeping Attendant

Job Overview The Hotel Y is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant with an eye for detail to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel guest rooms, public spaces and exterior entrances, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the hotel. Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist in laundry services as required (washing, drying, folding, stocking linens). Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and staff at all times. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Strong background on customer service. Experience in housekeeping or industrial cleaning is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate and partner up as a team. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently. Ability to move up and down stairs multiple times on a regular basis. Ability to reach overhead, push, and pull on a regular basis.
