In this lively role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, towels, and guest clothing, ensuring all laundry services meet the highest standards. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hotel operations while contributing to a smooth and efficient hospitality experience. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and guest clothing efficiently and safely. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and storage spaces to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with general cleaning duties around the hotel premises to support overall property upkeep. Ensure timely completion of laundry tasks to meet guest check-in and check-out schedules. Follow all safety protocols related to handling chemicals, laundry machines, and cleaning tools. Qualifications Previous experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and ironing. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary. Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety regulations related to chemical use. A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset ready to deliver outstanding service.
