Edenbrook Sheboygan is a 5-Star skilled nursing facility located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, as a part of the Eden Senior Care network. We are recruiting positive, happy, and reliable Housekeeper & Laundry Aide to join our team! As a Housekeeper at Edenbrook Sheboygan you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your attention to detail and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of those in our care.
Position:
Housekeeper (Part-time)
Work Schedule:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday)
Essential Functions:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility. Perform laundry duties, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing in accordance with facility standards. Safely mix, use, and store cleaning solutions according to safety guidelines. Properly label and remove infectious waste bags and containers, ensuring compliance with facility protocols. Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Conduct all job responsibilities in accordance with the standards outlined in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and professional standards.
Requirements:
Preferably has experience in a healthcare facility. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. Ability to lift or move heavy items, such as laundry bags, linen carts, or cleaning equipment, as required.
