Prepare Great Meals & Deliver Exceptional Service:
Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines. Ensure meals are properly portioned, attractively presented, and meet quality standards. Follow recipes, food safety requirements, and community policies. Assist with food preparation, baking, and special meals as needed. Interact warmly and respectfully with residents during meal service.
Keep Our Community Clean & Comfortable:
Clean resident apartments and common areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and living spaces. Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linens and personal clothing. Restock housekeeping and kitchen supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
Maintain Safe & Efficient Operations:
Keep kitchen, dining, and housekeeping areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Monitor inventory levels and report supply needs to leadership. Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards. Follow infection control, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Be a
Team Player:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure residents receive exceptional service. Assist with special events, holiday celebrations, themed meals, and community activities. Step in where needed to support teammates and maintain smooth daily operations. Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect at all times. Experience & Skills:
Previous experience in cooking, housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and cleaning procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Positive attitude, excellent time management, and strong customer service skills. ✔
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry throughout a full shift. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to work safely in kitchen, dining, and housekeeping environments. ✔
Certifications:
Food Handler Certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire). ServSafe Certification preferred. Willingness to complete required safety and compliance training.
