Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest cabins, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and meeting spaces by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, and restocking supplies. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens as needed. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly after each shift. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly for resolution. Follow established protocols for infection control and sanitation standards in line with hospitality industry regulations. Support housekeeping management in training new team members and maintaining operational efficiency during busy periods. Empty all waste baskets, ashtrays, and trash receptacles. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or custodial management is highly desirable. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and polishing machines confidently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care or maintenance. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
