Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to join our team on a Part-Time basis. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the facility while ensuring residents' personal clothing and linens are properly cleaned, handled, and returned. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces according to established procedures. Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces to maintain cleanliness and infection control standards. Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens. Label and track resident personal belongings as needed. Properly handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials. Maintain housekeeping and laundry equipment in a clean and safe manner. Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to the appropriate department. Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and coworkers. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous housekeeping, laundry, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move equipment and supplies. Must be dependable, reliable, and committed to excellent resident service.
