Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Perform detailed floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, polishing floors, and operating industrial cleaning equipment to preserve flooring quality. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas efficiently and accurately. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness at all times. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with hotel standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or reaching. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering consistently high-quality results. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Prior experience in custodial management or housekeeping supervision is a plus for those interested in advancement opportunities.
