Housekeeper

The Hampton Inn in Fairmont located at 2121 Pleasant Valley Rd currently has a Housekeeper / Laundry Attendant position opening. Seeking an upbeat, outgoing personality to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all back-of-house areas and customer areas Fold and wash laundry Perform quality cleaning to meet the required standards within set time limits. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items. Sort, count and mark clean linens, and store them in linen closets. Report any maintenance issues immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor, including all furniture, fittings, and equipment Complete all periodical tasks, such as flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains, and dusting lamp shades Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials. Check all vacant rooms daily to keep fresh. Pick up ground litter around the hotel or whatever visible. May perform similar duties as requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
