Housekeeper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities. Previous experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is preferred, but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow within the housekeeping field. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and well-maintained. Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed. Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
