Production Team - Candy Maker

Alaska Wild Berry Products is a beloved Alaskan company known for crafting gourmet chocolates, wild berry confections, and specialty sweets since 1946. The Candy Maker position is an entry-level kitchen role with room for growth and independence. As part of the Production Team, the Candy Maker plays a key role in preparing, cooking, and finishing confections, from rich chocolate treats to wild berry jellies and jams. This role also includes packaging candies, supporting day-to-day kitchen operations, and ensuring our customers always enjoy the highest quality sweets.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing, cooking, and finishing candies, chocolates, and confections according to recipes and standards Assisting with packaging and labeling products for retail and wholesale distribution Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in the production kitchen Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient daily operations Supporting innovation and quality through attention to detail and care in every batch. What we're looking for: A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail Ability to follow recipes and instructions with consistency Dependability, punctuality, and a positive team-player attitude Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Previous food service, kitchen, or production experience is a plus but not required

Team members start at $16.00/hour and receive $2.00 raises at their 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month reviews when performance expectations are met—bringing you to $20.00/hour by your first anniversary .
