Oyster Bar:
Clark s Oyster Bar, part of MML Hospitality, is opening in Malibu, California. Known for our exceptional oysters, martinis, lobster rolls, champagne, and signature dishes, we re thrilled to bring the Clark s experience to this vibrant community. Inspired by the 1950s, our design features oak, terracotta, and leather, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With around 100 seats, including a private dining room, we re proud to be a new neighborhood staple where locals and visitors alike can enjoy outstanding food, drinks, and service.

Position SummaryAs an Oyster Shucker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently shucking and grilling of oysters for guests. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, is detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!

Duties and responsibilities include: Cleans & prepares shellfish for serving to customers. consistently follow recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards Rotates oysters daily, oldest on top.

Provide fast, accurate shucking of oystersRestock all items through each shiftProvide assistance to kitchen manager and kitchen staff with food preparationEnsure all tools and equipment are properly stored and safely usedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Excellent customer service and people skills requiredActive Food Handlers certification requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 1-year oyster shucking experience preferredAbility to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively

TIPPED POSITION!
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for prolonged periodsFrequent use of hands, wrists, and forearms to shuck oysters, requiring significant manual dexterity, strength, and repetitive motion.

Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, such as bags of oysters, ice, and other supplies.

Regular bending, reaching, and stooping to access supplies and maintain a clean workstation.

Ability to work in a cold, wet environment, often handling chilled seafood and working around ice.

Work may involve exposure to moderate noise levels and varying kitchen temperatures.
