Please note, this position is in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. 7:30am - 4pm + overtime and Saturday as needed. Essential Functions Follow all department safety policies and procedures. Adhere to prescribed safety regulations related to equipment operation and lifting techniques. Read and interpret production worksheets to identify the correct pattern, batting, and thread required for quilting completion. Meet or exceed established daily production and quality standards. Load raw materials onto machinery, load thread, thread needles, and verify proper thread tension. Remove completed rolls of quilted cloth from the wind-up unit and place them on the bagging rack or wrapper. Start new rolls of quilted cloth onto the wind-up bar without interrupting machine operation. Secure roll ends; weigh, bag, label, scan, and store completed quilted rolls on the supply rack. Measure quilted roll widths and visually inspect quilted cloth for defects during wind-up operations. Record batting roll weights and widths accurately. Continuously monitor production quality for skipped stitches and other potential defects. Report machine issues beyond the operator's ability to correct to the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager. Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete daily end-of-shift cleanup tasks, including proper disposal of trash and scrap materials as needed throughout the shift. Notify the Production Supervisor of any mechanical or material concerns. Perform other duties as assigned. Occasional standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. Close vision abilities are necessary for this role. Competencies & Requirements Ability to read and understand simple instructions and perform basic math involving weight measurements. Ability to grip, push, pull, and reach above shoulder level using both hands. Regular standing, walking, stooping, and bending while operating equipment is required. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

$22.00 per hour
