At Blue Island Oyster Bar, our Oyster Shuckers aren't hidden in the kitchen — they are front and center, interacting with guests, showcasing their craft, and creating memorable experiences at the raw bar. What You'll Do

• Shuck oysters to order in a high-visibility, guest-facing environment
• Engage with guests by explaining oyster varieties, flavor profiles, and regions
• Make recommendations and answer questions with confidence
• Present oysters with attention to detail and quality
• Support servers and assist in delivering an exceptional dining experience What Makes This Role Different
• You interact directly with guests throughout service
• You help create an interactive, elevated raw bar experience
• You participate in a tip pool and may receive direct tips What We're Looking For
• Positive, outgoing personality — comfortable talking to guests
• Passion for food, seafood, and hospitality

• Attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Willingness to learn (or prior oyster/seafood experience is a plus) Training & Growth

• Certification required before working independently
