Overview Join our dynamic food processing team as a Meat Processor, where your skills will help deliver high-quality meat products to customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and sanitation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, clean, and safety-focused environment. As a Meat Processor, you will be integral to the production line, ensuring that meat cuts are prepared efficiently, safely, and in accordance with food industry regulations. Your dedication will contribute to delivering fresh, safe, and delicious products to consumers around the world. Duties Operate meat processing equipment and machinery with precision and care, adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines. Perform meat cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning tasks using knives and mechanical tools to meet product specifications. Follow strict sanitation procedures to keep the work area clean and compliant with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations. Package finished products accurately for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and sealing for freshness and safety. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to identify any defects or safety concerns. Maintain detailed records of processing activities, sanitation routines, and safety inspections in compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while upholding food safety and sanitation standards in a food processing plant environment. Qualifications Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is preferred; experience in meat cutting or food industry roles is a plus. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, sanitation practices, HACCP protocols, and food safety regulations is highly desirable. Strong knife skills and mechanical knowledge related to meat processing equipment are essential for success in this role. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process. Basic understanding of packaging techniques used in food production environments. Willingness to learn new skills related to meat processing and food safety practices.
