Job Description

Food Production Specialist - The Local Gourmet (Southbury, CT)
Pay:
Starting at $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
4 to 5 shifts, between Monday-Saturday | No Sundays! (part-time available for the right candidate)
Hours:
8/9am until 4pm during the week, 8/9am until 4pm on Saturday About Us At The Local Gourmet , we're passionate about creating fresh, homemade meals for our community. Our grab-and-go market features chef-prepared dishes made daily with high-quality ingredients. We're a small, highly productive team that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and pride in what we make. About the Role We're looking for Food Production Specialists to join our Deli and Kitchen teams. You'll help with daily food prep, packaging, and production for our retail cases. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with food, thrives in a hands-on environment, and loves being part of a positive, hardworking team. What You'll Do Prepare and portion food for our grab-and-go selections Follow recipes and maintain food quality standards Keep prep and production areas organized and clean Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management Contribute to a friendly, professional, and efficient workplace What We're Looking For Previous food production, food service, deli, or customer service experience
REQUIRED
