Job Description

Production Operative - Vegetable Factory (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Location:
Brandon We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy vegetable processing factory. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive team working in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Overview:
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for ensuring vegetables are processed, sorted, packed, and prepared to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Main Duties:
Checking and sorting vegetables on the production line Removing debris such as rocks, stones, and other foreign objects Packing potato bags up to 20kg Supporting the smooth running of the production line Ensuring products meet customer quality specifications Carrying out quality checks on finished products Assisting colleagues with lifting and moving items, including heavy lifting Reducing manual handling risks where possible Following all health & safety procedures Other general production duties as required
Shift Pattern:
Day shifts starting at 07:00 until finish (depending on production/orders) Full-time and part-time positions available
Pay Rates:
£12.71 per hour Overtime after 39 hours: £17.17 per hour
Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good attention to detail Willingness to carry out manual work and heavy lifting (including 20kg bags) Team player with a positive attitude Previous production or factory experience is beneficial but not essential
