Job Description

Monday - Saturday (Sunday and one day off during the week) 5:00 am -
Finish Job Summary:
The Fish Filleter is responsible for processing whole fish into fillets and other market-ready products while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. This role requires the ability to use knives and processing equipment efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Fillet, trim, skin, and portion fish according to company specifications. Inspect fish products for quality, freshness, and defects. Remove bones, scales, and other unwanted materials as required. Operate and maintain knives and fish-processing equipment safely. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Meet daily production goals and quality standards. Properly package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage. Assist with receiving, sorting, and handling seafood products as needed. Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
Previous fish processing or filleting experience preferred. Ability to use filleting knives and related tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a cold, wet environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
Work Environment:
Seafood processing facility or production plant. Cold temperatures and wet conditions. Fast-paced production environment with strict quality and safety standards.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
