Job Description

Bradley's Country Store is seeking a reliable and organized person to join our Meat Processing Plant Team in a full time position. We are located 6 miles North of Bradfordville Road on Centerville Road at 10655 Centerville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309.
Job Overview:
Provide daily labor to the operations of the plant in the focus area of meat processing Maintain daily functional status of the meat processing plant, including daily equipment functionality and preparedness Participate as a team member in maintaining the meat processing activities and facilities in compliance with
USDA/FDA
regulations regarding sanitation, operation and regulation of all meat processing areas This job entails helping in any activities involved in processing meat and meat products, including but not limited to: Grinding meat, working the sausage stuffer, preparing sausage for smoking, packaging meat, end of day clean up Operate processing equipment in a food production environment Prepare meat products according to specifications
Working Conditions:
Employees are regularly required to stand, squat, kneel, walk, and perform repetitive motions. This individual may be required to push and pull, climb, balance, reach and lift Must be willing to work in an environment with raw meat This position requires standing and walking for 8 to 10 hours a day Must be willing to work in a cold environment (30 to 40 degrees) with all appropriate protective equipment and required gear This position works in a cold, damp or hot and humid environment and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Must be willing and able to lift up to 75 pounds Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as necessary Cleaning experience required Experience in the professional sanitation or meat industries and processes is preferred Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
