00) Job Summary We are hiring Production Associates for our Ready-to-Cook (RTC) Department. Employees work along an automated conveyor production line where chicken products are battered, seasoned, fried, frozen with liquid nitrogen, packaged, and prepared for shipment. Team members may be assigned to any stage of the production process based on operational needs. Essential Duties Work alongside automated conveyor belt systems that batter, season/flour, fry, freeze, and package poultry products. Separate and position chicken pieces on moving conveyor belts to prevent product overlap or sticking during processing. Monitor product spacing to ensure proper frying, freezing, and packaging results. Observe product flow through battering, seasoning, frying, liquid nitrogen freezing, and packaging stages. Remove misaligned, damaged, or defective products from the production line. Assist with bagging, sealing, labeling, stacking, and boxing finished products for shipment. Maintain required production line speed while meeting quality and food safety standards. Follow all sanitation procedures when handling raw and cooked poultry products. Report equipment malfunctions, product issues, or safety concerns immediately. Safely work around automated machinery and conveyors following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when required. Lift materials weighing 40-70 lbs as needed. Comply with GMPs, HACCP programs, plant safety policies, and USDA regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced production environment. Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours), except during breaks. Ability to safely work near moving conveyor belts, automated processing equipment, hot fryers, and liquid nitrogen freezing systems. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as production requires. Willingness to work in multiple areas within the Ready-to-Cook department. Must pass pre-employment drug test.
