Job Description

Scott Cooperative Association Elevator Operator Location Lead at Selkirk Elevator The Scott Cooperative is currently accepting applications for a full-time elevator operator lead at the Selkirk Elevator. A successful applicant should have a strong work ethic, leadership skills, personnel management experience, the ability to work well with others and have the ability to work required seasonal hours. Duties Duties of this position include leading personnel with location duties, communicating with elevator manager and personnel, assisting in unloading grain from trucks, required cleaning and maintenance of equipment/work station, cleaning up grain spills and performs other duties assigned by supervisor. Qualifications This position requires that the employee perform each assigned duty successfully. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ability to work seasonal hours as required. This job can be physically demanding. You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces, walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push and pull various tools and equipment. You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 100 pounds occasionally. You may be required to wear personal protective equipment, including hardhats, gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes, and respiratory protection and ear protection as appropriate.
