Job Description
Position Summary Runs the harvest-through-trim line. Owns the cut, hang, dry, cure, buck, and trim workflow for one room per week (~200 lb dry, up to 30% diverted to fresh frozen). Directs the harvest production technician team and is accountable for trim yield, dry timing, and biomass quality. Key Responsibilities Execute the weekly harvest plan: cut-down, hang, dry, buck, machine and/or hand trim Coordinate fresh frozen processing for hash and rosin: bucking, bagging, weighing, freezing within target time-to-freeze Manage dry room environmental setpoints; monitor moisture content to hit target cure window Direct daily task assignments across 7-10 production technicians on the harvest team Track trim yield per lot; investigate and correct yield misses Maintain accurate batch/lot weights and entries in the state tracking system at every transfer point Sanitize harvest, dry, and trim spaces between lots per SOP Coordinate sample pulls for required state lab testing Maintain trim machinery (Twister/CenturionPro/etc.) per maintenance schedule Required Qualifications 3+ years cannabis post-harvest experience; 1+ year leading a harvest or trim crew Working knowledge of dry/cure science and moisture management Hands-on experience with machine trimmers and hand-trim quality grading Experience processing fresh frozen biomass for hash/rosin Detail-oriented with disciplined approach to batch tracking Must pass Kentucky cannabis agent background check Preferred Qualifications METRC or comparable tracking system certification Prior experience at a facility doing both flower SKUs and concentrate feedstock Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Standing 8+ hours; repetitive hand and wrist motion Lift and carry up to 50 lb (full totes, hanging racks) Cold exposure during fresh frozen handling Weekend rotation required during harvest weeks qQlJqFpfaL
