Job Summary Prepare crabs, snow crab legs, shrimp, mussels and clams by cleaning, seasoning, and portining out for steaming Operate commercial steaming equipment safely and efficiently to cook crab and other shellfish to the correct temperature Monitor cooking times and adjust heat levels to ensure optimal quality and presentation Maintain cleanliness of work stations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards Assist with plating and presentation of steamed seafood dishes for service Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders Skills Strong knowledge of seafood preparation techniques, especially steaming methods Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and responsibly Excellent attention to detail to ensure consistent quality in every dish Good physical stamina for standing long hours and handling heavy pots or seafood supplies in a hot and humid enviroment Effective communication skills within a team environment Basic understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Enthusiasm for working in a lively, fast-paced setting with a positive attitude This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in energetic environments and are passionate about delivering top-notch seafood experiences.
