Manufacturing Plant Meat Packing

Job Overview Ebels General Store in Falmouth is currently looking for a full-time energetic individual to work in our Little Town Jerky manufacturing area. This position is responsible for processing, packaging, and preparing meat products for distribution. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, following strict hygiene and safety protocols, and ensuring the quality of finished products. Ideal candidates will be working in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 35°F to 45°F. The use of protective gear, including gloves, aprons, and hairnets is required, along with standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and maintain equipment used for cutting and packaging meat products. Inspect product to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Package products according to company standards and customer specifications. Label and date products for inventory tracking. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following sanitation and safety guidelines. Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines. Assist in the loading and unloading of products. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend and stand as necessary. Must be able to work effectively in a refrigerated environment. Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays based on production needs.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
