Job Description
Job Summary We are hiring dependable Food Production Workers to join our pork processing team in a controlled clean room environment. This role involves handling raw pork products, operating equipment, and maintaining strict sanitation and safety standards to ensure high-quality food production.
Key Responsibilities Process and handle raw pork products (cutting, trimming, portioning, and packaging) Work on a production line in a temperature-controlled clean room Follow detailed production instructions and specifications Operate knives and food processing equipment safely Inspect products for quality, consistency, and safety Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with USDA and Food and Drug Administration guidelines Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment regularly Report equipment issues, contamination risks, or safety concerns Qualifications Previous food production, meat processing, or warehouse experience preferred Comfortable working with raw pork products Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to [X lbs] Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team Work Environment Clean room setting with strict hygiene protocols Cold temperatures (typically 35-45°F / 2-7°C) Fast-paced, repetitive tasks Use of PPE such as gloves, hairnets, masks, and protective clothing
