Greenhouse Grower - Minneapolis/Hugo

Responsibilities:

Discuss plant growing activities with Head Grower that are consistent with planned production schedules Monitor growing conditions and discuss changes in humidity, moisture, temperature and other cultivation procedures with Head Grower to ensure conformance with quality control standards Prepare space required for planned production Inspect crops' physical development and monitor pests or disease to maintain quality standards Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as directed Assist in the development of growing procedures for new species and new cultivation techniques for existing crops Maintain records of growing and production techniques for future review identifying trends and forecasting space allocation needs Assist in training new employees in growing techniques and activities Maintain a current knowledge of growing techniques and technologies Assists the Head Grower and performs other duties as assigned

• 2-4 year degree in Horticulture or related field 3-5 years related work experience (not including Cannabis production) Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the position Come grow with us!
