Cleanroom Technician (Biotech)

Cleanroom Technician Job Description We are seeking a diligent Cleanroom Technician to join our team in a clean room manufacturing environment focused on creating biological medical devices derived from porcine liver. Your primary role will involve handling and processing porcine livers, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Receive and trim porcine livers. Scoop and mix solutions for liver processing. Decellularize porcine livers. Create and cut specific pieces for medical devices. Sterilize the clean room to maintain a safe working environment. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meticulously. Essential Skills Experience working in a cleanroom setting for at least 6 months. Proficiency in sterile processing and aseptic techniques. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Reliability and a strong work ethic. Requirements - 6+ months of experience working within a clean room setting - Experience following SOPs in GMP environment Work Environment The role involves working directly with porcine livers and occasionally assisting R D with porcine kidneys. Expect a wet environment with regular lifting of 25 lbs. The production timeline runs from Monday to the following Tuesday when products are shipped out. Production weeks require over 40 hours per week, with non-production weeks around 36 hours. During non-build weeks, the schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Build weeks vary with longer hours and some mandatory overtime, up to 44 hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of plymouth, MN.
