Overnight General Operator

We are looking for a skilled Overnight Operator to work a 2 week rotating shift of 12 hours shifts (6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. - including every other weekend) to operate our process equipment used to produce quality dairy products. The ideal candidate will have dairy plant experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. The candidate may also fill in during the day in our Milk Intake as needed. This position requires the loading , unloading, testing and handling of raw liquid dairy products - Responsibilities Operation of equipment (including, but not limited to, Evaporator, Dryer, Separator, Bagger, Shrink wrapper, Forklift, Pasteurizer & Boiler ) Perform assigned data entry and record keeping functions Perform in-process quality control tests Maintain plant sanitation at a level that meets or exceeds Preston Protein Products and regulatory standards Identify and Report issues to a maintenance manager Skill Ability to read and comprehend oral and written instructions, process charts and short correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to coworkers. Very good communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and dexterity High school diploma or equivalent
