JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary Monitor the production process by spreading, inspecting and packing product. Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must use both hands Will be standing by a continually moving conveyor to spread and inspect goods Remove scrap product from both sides of convey or belt and put into inedible barrel Product is packed off on a running conveyor into boxes weighing 9# - 35# depending on product Boxes are then pushed down a running conveyor from scale, closed and pushed through tape machine and stacked on skids to a height of between 4 to 6 feet Product is then transferred to freezer by use of palletjacks Report any issues with product to lead/manager/supervisor Work as a team under supervision of lead OT is often available When line is down sweep/clean production area Follow all safety rules and regulations per established company policies Perform all other duties as assigned Temperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with

Food Safety:

GMP's, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, Quality & USDA requirements. Position Qualifications : Prefer High School Diploma or GED Be able to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable Self-driven Palletjack Certification for certain production workers
