Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Beverage Production Lead to join our innovative beverage production and distribution facility. In this pivotal role, you will supervise the production team and oversee all daily operations of beverage manufacturing. Applying in-depth knowledge of food and beverage production and packaging, you will perform a broad range of duties essential to the day-to-day operations and production of company products. These responsibilities include the preparation of supplies, materials, and equipment; maintenance of equipment and facilities; facility-keeping functions; and the proper and safe use of all equipment and materials. Your leadership will ensure production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining strict compliance with food safety standards. You will drive quality, safety, and productivity targets, inspiring your team to achieve excellence in every batch. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about beverage production who is eager to make a tangible impact through disciplined project management, precise planning, and a commitment to accurate timelines and operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise the daily activities and the production team. Communicate with plant manager and production team for daily production plans, packaging and maintenance of equipment related to production. Follow all company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and follow the New Mexico Department of Health Services regulations Record all pertinent information for manufactured products into daily production logs Provide input and guidance to improve daily activities and efficiencies. Prepare product packaging (sanitizing, drying, labeling, etc.) and assemble goods into final packaging. Maintain, clean, sanitize, and properly store production tools and equipment. Follow instructions for set-up and usage of equipment; immediately cease use and report equipment in need of repair to plant manager. Gather adequate supply of materials needed for daily production and follow proper chain of custody procedures (documentation and security) for supplies and ingredients. Enforce and maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA, GMP and ADHS, ensuring proper ingredient storage and handling. Responsible for maintaining a tour friendly appearance in production rooms. Supervise production team in properly disposing of garbage at shift end and/or as needed. Train and assist new employees to do their jobs efficiently Work closely with the distribution team to make sure all inventory levels are adequate and sufficient Computer skills: general knowledge of computer use, able to upload project sheets into google drives, making recipes via supplied recipe project sheets, Microsoft office suite, making QR codes, and updating spreadsheets. Punctuality is a must. General Machine knowledge - mechanically inclined
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
