This role operates pre-roll equipment, grinds flower, fills and tubes pre-rolls, infuses and labels finished products, and packages it for sale. The position requires attention to detail, consistency, compliance with all state and company regulations, and the ability to meet daily production targets while maintaining product quality. Key Responsibilities Operate the pre-roll machine in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standard operating procedures. Grind cannabis flower to the correct consistency for pre-roll production. Fill, tube, weigh, and tamp pre-rolls to specification, ensuring consistent weight and quality across batches. Infuse pre-rolls (e.g., with concentrate or kief) following established recipes and dosing standards. Apply labels accurately to pre-rolls, tubes, and outer packaging, ensuring compliance with state labeling requirements. Package finished pre-rolls into tubes, jars, multi-packs, or other final packaging formats as directed. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift. Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of the pre-roll machine and related equipment. Track production output, scrap, and waste accurately; record all activity in the inventory and compliance systems. Follow all state cannabis regulations, including chain-of-custody, tracking, and waste disposal requirements. Adhere to all company safety, quality, and compliance procedures at all times. Support other production and packaging tasks as needed. Required Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a state-required background check and obtain any required cannabis worker permit or badge prior to start. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm motions throughout a shift. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform basic physical tasks associated with a production environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency, quality, and compliance. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures. Basic math skills for weighing, counting, and recording production numbers. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in cannabis production, pre-roll manufacturing, or a regulated production environment. Familiarity with pre-roll machines (e.g., Knockbox, RollPros, Futurola) and grinding equipment. Experience with state seed-to-sale tracking systems (e.g., METRC) and inventory software. Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and infusion techniques. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed in a licensed cannabis production facility. Exposure to cannabis plant material, dust, and strong aromas is a regular part of the role. Requires standing, sitting, bending, and repetitive motion for the duration of the shift. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, hairnets, and aprons is required and provided.
