SV has expanded to Santa Monica in 2024 and New York City in 2025. Our exclusive properties offer an oasis of tranquility, luxury, and personalized service to our esteemed members. Position Purpose This role plays a key supporting role in delivering an elevated bar experience by ensuring all ingredients, garnishes, and beverage components are prepared with precision and care. This position upholds the highest standards of quality, organization, and cleanliness, enabling the bar team to operate seamlessly and consistently at a luxury level. With a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, the Bar Prep contributes to the overall refinement and efficiency of the club's beverage program. Responsibilities Prepare fresh juices, house-made syrups, and specialty beverage components in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. Execute the preparation and presentation of garnishes with consistency, precision, and attention to detail. Receive, organize, and maintain liquor, wine, and beverage inventory with a high level of care and accuracy. Ensure proper rotation, labeling, and storage of all products to maintain freshness and quality. Maintain a pristine, organized, and well-stocked prep and storage environment at all times. Coordinate the movement and organization of beverage products throughout the property to support operational needs. Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate replenishment needs to leadership. Complete all prep work efficiently to ensure the bar team is fully supported for each service period. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards in alignment with company policies. Support the broader Food & Beverage team as needed to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes Foundational understanding of bar operations, ingredients, and beverage preparation preferred. Demonstrates precision in measuring ingredients using scales and standard tools, ensuring consistency and integrity across all recipes and preparations. Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on consistency, quality, and presentation. Ability to work with efficiency and organization in a fast-paced, high-standard environment. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and supportive approach. Ability to follow recipes and direction with precision and consistency. Strong sense of accountability with a commitment to cleanliness and organization. Clear and professional communication skills. Qualifications Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred. Experience with kitchen or prep work is advantageous. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the property for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, including cases of liquor and beverage products. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions associated with preparation tasks. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to navigate back-of-house and storage areas safely and effectively.
Pay:
$24.00 per hour
