Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Processor to join our team in our small family owned processing plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing of food products while adhering to safety and quality standards. This position requires a general understanding of food safety protocols, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with others. We are very passionate about producing high quality nutrient dense dairy products for our customers and are seeking an employee to help us fulfill our mission. Duties Operate food processing equipment while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation. Ensure compliance with our FSP(Food Safety Plan)and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines throughout the production process. Monitor production processes for quality control, making adjustments as necessary to meet production goals. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including regular sanitization of equipment and surfaces. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance productivity. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs. Adhere to all company policies regarding food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety. Qualifications Reliability and commitment to producing exceptional dairy products. Familiarity with food safety. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Ability to operate a forklift safely is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a dynamic production setting.
