Job Description

Under limited supervision of the Dairy Processing Manager. Position is responsible for the operation of all fluid processing and ice cream manufacturing including operation of a regulated milk testing laboratory. Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to, inventory, processing, record keeping, storage and shipment of all production including surplus raw milk products. Also responsible for compliance with all states (SCDHEC) and federal (FDA & USDA) regulatory guidelines. Position requires extended work hours during peak seasons and/or during emergencies to include agriculture division dairy and other operations. The Agriculture Division Director has deemed position essential and must be manned during any and all state or agency emergencies. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
