Poultry Line Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Poultry Line Associate to join our food processing plant. This role involves working on the poultry production line to ensure the efficient and safe processing of poultry products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and manufacturing processes within the food industry. Duties Operate poultry processing equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards Assist with meat cutting, trimming, and packaging of poultry products Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas following HACCP and OSHA guidelines Ensure compliance with food safety protocols throughout the production process Monitor product quality and report any deviations or concerns to supervisors Follow proper knife skills and mechanical procedures to ensure efficient workflow Assist with loading, unloading, and moving products within the production line Adhere to all safety regulations related to food processing plants and meat handling Skills Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and sanitation procedures in a food processing environment Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety regulations Experience in manufacturing, food processing, or meat cutting preferred Mechanical knowledge related to processing equipment is a plus Ability to operate packaging machinery efficiently Strong knife skills for meat processing tasks Understanding of the food industry standards for quality and safety Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions This position is vital for maintaining high standards of food safety and product quality within our poultry processing operations.
