Meat Production Associate

Down Home Processing is a small, family owned and operated meat processing plant in Tazewell, TN. Our focus is to provide top quality meat products and processing for our customers. We are looking to make hires for our processing & kill floor operations. Processing positions include operating the meat grinder, packaging and cutting meat, and trimming. Kill floor positions include skinning, removing organs, and preparing the carcass for chilling. The kill floor only operates 2 days per week, so the other 3 days you will work on the processing floor, cutting or packaging finished products. With more experience comes multiple other positions to grow into here. We are specifically looking for people who are eager to learn and grow within our company. Experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Regardless of experience, you will still be trained and informed about our procedures and practices to ensure safety as well as quality. This job is day shift, Monday-Friday, roughly 40 hours per week. Starting pay is $11.00/hr. with opportunities for quick raises.
