Position SummaryThe Production Associate is an entry-level, hands-on role responsible for executing the core production tasks that keep Dehy s line running smoothly each day. This includes washing, slicing, sorting, traying, packaging, labeling, cleaning, and other repetitive but essential work. You ll be trained in our SOPs, HACCP procedures, and quality standards, and you ll support the Production Manager, Line Leads and your teammates to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient facility. This job is ideal for someone who works well with their hands, follows structure, and enjoys being part of a high-performance production environment. Core Responsibilities Perform daily production tasks including washing, slicing, traying, sorting, and packaging Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness requirements (HACCP, cGMP, SSOPs) Maintain consistent pace and meet productivity standards for each task Operate equipment safely after training; report issues immediately Record weights, counts, and basic production data accurately Maintain clean, organized workstations throughout the shift Assist with end-of-day cleanup, trash removal, and station reset Support raw material handling, staging, and movement of finished goods Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members throughout the shift Contribute to a safe, positive, and team-oriented production environment Scope of Authority Execute assigned production duties following established procedures Stop work and alert supervisors when observing:o Safety hazardso Food safety concernso Equipment malfunctions No authority to modify procedures, equipment settings, or production plans Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent pace in a production environment Able to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a food manufacturing setting Able to lift 30-40 lbs and stand for extended periods Basic communication skills; able to work well within a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or prep-kitchen work Bilingual (English/Spanish) Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, or food safety environments Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $18 $20 per hour, depending on experience and performance capability Health insurance (full time, 50% covered) Paid time off and holidaysSuccess in This Role Looks LikeWithin 90 days, a successful Production Associate is dependable, consistent, and trained across key production tasks.
