Functions:

To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture. Receive training as required. Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned. Description The Team Member will be responsible for ensuring that vats are cleaned and sanitized properly.

Tasks:

Responsible for ensuring that the vats are properly washed, sanitized and covered. Ensure all chemicals are labeled and stored correctly. Inspect meat muscles for foreign material prior to entering the injector or grinder. Manual pallet jacks are required to pull and push vats in and out of the area. Maintain the cleanliness of the washroom and the area around it. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Clean and sanitize, walls, ceilings, framework, and processing equipment throughout the plant, by foaming, scrubbing and rinsing. Report all findings or any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to the supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. The Team Member must be willing and able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The Team Member is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
