The company supplies local, sustainable, and natural meats, as well as locally sourced game and specialty items, to restaurants and retail markets across the western United States. Corfini Meat & Seafood operates as a chef-driven organization focused on quality, education, and innovation in all types of proteins, from nose to tail. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Meat Packager role based in Salt Lake City, UT. The Meat Packager is responsible for accurately weighing, cutting, and portioning meat products according to customer specifications and company standards. Day-to-day duties include labeling, wrapping, and sealing products, organizing items for shipment, and maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary work areas in compliance with food safety regulations. The role involves inspecting products for quality, following packaging instructions and order sheets, and working closely with production and shipping teams to ensure orders are completed on time. The Meat Packager will also assist with inventory rotation, proper storage of products, and basic equipment checks to support efficient operations. Qualifications Ability to perform hands-on packing tasks and follow standardized packaging procedures with attention to detail (Packing). Understanding of basic packaging concepts and willingness to learn best practices that protect product quality and safety (Packaging Design, Packaging Engineering). Experience or interest in monitoring product standards, identifying defects, and adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines (Quality Control). Capacity to follow established processes, document observations, and support continuous improvement efforts by asking questions and learning from data (Research). Previous experience in food processing, meat packing, or warehouse environments is beneficial. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move boxes or products safely, and work in refrigerated environments. Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills, with reliability in attendance and task completion. Willingness to follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and cutting tools. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.

The ability to lift 25-50lbs on a regular basis. The ability to uphold GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety guidelines. Have reliable source of personal transportation.
