Production Agent Job Description:

The Flower Production Agent works under the direction of the Flower Production Lead to assist in machine trimming, hand trimming, weighing, packaging, and quality control of cannabis flower. This role requires precision, strong attention to visual detail, adherence to SOPs, and consistent throughput while maintaining product integrity. Agents in this role must be able to identify defects, maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment, and communicate any issues promptly. Previous cannabis or agricultural processing experience is preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:

Flower Processing Tasks Assist in both machine trimming and hand trimming , ensuring the cannabis flower maintains its structure and quality. Operate trimming machines, perform basic cleaning, and prep equipment for daily use. Break down bulk flower and sort according to size, quality, and product requirements. Weigh and portion cannabis flower with high accuracy, following all weight tolerances and state requirements. Package flower into bags, jars, or pre-weighed units according to SOPs. Perform rigorous QC checks on appearance, moisture, trim quality, stem removal, contamination, and consistency. Remove defective buds or batches and report concerns to the Lead immediately. Monitor the production line and assist in meeting daily output goals. General Production Responsibilities Follow all company SOPs, safety rules, and sanitation standards. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, trimming tools, and equipment. Adapt to different trimming and packaging techniques based on strain structure or product requirements. Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining high product quality. Properly store raw and finished flower in designated areas using approved handling procedures. Record weights, batch numbers, yields, defect counts, and other production data accurately. Report equipment issues, material concerns, or workflow disruptions to the Flower Lead. Record time worked accurately, promptly, and honestly. Perform daily destruction and waste-outs according to SOP. Assist other departments as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail—particularly visual quality control Punctual, reliable, and consistent attendance Good hand dexterity and comfort working with small components Ability to maintain quality and focus during repetitive tasks Strong personal hygiene and compliance with cannabis handling standards Basic math and accurate scale-weighing skills Familiarity with trimming tools or cultivation processes is a plus

Requirements:

Valid state-issued government ID Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time 21+ years of age Must be able to pass a background check Must have reliable transportation In order to be hired must pass a background through the state. This costs are $150 for the agent card and approximately $30 for fingerprints. Make sure you keep your receipts, and we will reimburse you upon your completion of the 90 day probationary period.
