Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are hiring a motivated and hardworking Candy Maker to join our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and producing a variety of candy products while maintaining high quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook candy recipes following company specifications Measure and mix ingredients accurately Monitor cooking processes (temperatures, timing, consistency) Operate and clean production equipment Inspect finished products for quality, texture, and appearance Assist with batching, scaling, and prepping ingredients Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all food safety, sanitation, and GMP guidelines Work with the team to meet daily production goals and deadlines
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Comfortable working with heat, machinery, and repetitive tasks Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player Previous food production or kitchen experience preferred (not required)
Work Environment:
Food production facility (can be warm due to cooking processes) Hands-on, active role involving standing and movement Team-based production environment
Pay:
From $15.50 per hour
