Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM Join Our Team Cured by Visconti's is a USDA-inspected meat processing and salumi production facility specializing in handcrafted sausages, smoked meats, and cured products. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to support both our Packaging Department and Sanitation Team during our afternoon swing shift. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in quality work, and understands the importance of food safety and cleanliness in a production environment. As our business continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to gain experience in multiple areas of production and manufacturing operations. What You'll DoPackaging & Production Support Package, label, and seal finished products according to company standards. Portion products accurately using scales and production guidelines. Inspect products for quality, appearance, and accuracy before packaging. Apply retail and case labels. Scan products and enter inventory information. Assist with production line operations and packaging equipment. Maintain accurate counts and inventory records. Ensure all products meet quality and food safety standards. Sanitation & Facility Cleaning Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and food contact areas. Wash floors, walls, drains, and processing areas. Operate floor cleaning equipment and sanitation tools. Handle and properly use cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines. Clean and restock employee and customer restrooms. Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility. Assist with end-of-day facility shutdown and security procedures. Help maintain USDA and food safety compliance standards. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position in a food production environment.

Candidates must be able to:

Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with assistance. Push, pull, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Work in refrigerated environments and around production equipment. Work safely with cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, warehouse, food production, packaging, sanitation, or kitchen experience preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures. Strong communication skills. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
