PAYROLL TITLE
Part-time Mobile Bus Support SpecialistPOSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Mental Health & Disability Manager, the Part-time Mobile Bus Support Specialist supports the coordination and delivery of therapy services provided within the program, including services conducted on the mobile sensory bus. This role ensures a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children while maintaining organization, documentation, and compliance with program requirements. The position requires active supervision, strong coordination skills, and collaboration with staff and community partners.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and coordinate therapy schedules with staff and therapists to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Safely escort children to and from the mobile sensory bus. Provide active supervision at all times during therapy sessions. Set up, clean, and maintain therapy environments, including materials and equipment. Maintain accurate documentation, including attendance, schedules, and related records. Collect and document in-kind contributions from community partners in accordance with program requirements. Support visits, services, and trainings conducted by community partners. Administration may assign additional duties as needed for the benefit of the agency Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures and protocols.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of 45 DCF hours. Experience working with young children preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Work is performed in a childcare setting and on a mobile sensory bus. Position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and active supervision of children.
