This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and are committed to helping create a safe, positive, and supportive transportation environment for students.

The Role:

The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring of students during transportation to/from school and on trips. Bus Monitors particularly ensure the safety of the school's youngest scholars (i.e. Kindergarten students) and special education students.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Experience working with students (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students during loading, unloading, and transit to maintain a safe and orderly environment Assist young children and students with special needs as required Maintain clear communication with drivers and school staff regarding student behavior and safety Uphold the school's expectations for safety, respect, and care at all times Support other school operations as needed to ensure smooth daily transportation
