Pre-K AM/PM Bus Diver

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate AM/PM Bus Monitor/Bus Driver to ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication and conflict management skills. This role is essential in creating a positive and secure environment for students as they travel to and from school or events.

AM:

6:30-8:00

PM:

2:30 - 4:30 Duties Supervise students while boarding, riding, and exiting the bus to ensure their safety at all times. Assist students with special needs, providing support as necessary during transportation. Manage student behavior on the bus, implementing effective behavior management strategies. Communicate clearly with students, parents, and school staff regarding any issues or concerns that arise during transport. Administer first aid when required and respond to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner. Collaborate with bus drivers to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience for all passengers. Maintain a clean and organized environment on the bus, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. Requirements Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Knowledge of first aid procedures; certification is a plus. Classroom experience or teaching background is beneficial for understanding student needs. Ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere on the bus.
