Food Service DirectorJOB GOAL
The goal of the cafeteria staff is to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of students in cafeterias.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Transport food from the high school to the elementary building. Help prepare lunchrooms for student use. Help prepare lunches. Serve food at counter. Serves students hot lunches Monitor food temperature Manage silverware and napkin refills Wash and sanitize milk containers. Cleans kitchens using standard appropriate procedures. Assists other staff in the supervision of students. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities. Complies with and supports school regulations. Assists in cleaning up spills, accidents, etc. Cleans lunchroom tables. Assists in taking down and putting up lunchroom tables. Maintains a pleasant and positive attitude with children in the lunchroom. Maintains confidentiality in all school-related matters. Performs other lunchroom duties as assigned by the Food Service Director and/or administration.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and work year is to be established by the Board of Education.EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be completed by the Food Service Director on an annual basis.Position Type:
