Job Description

Illinois Valley is looking to hire an Educational Assistant / Bus Monitor for their Jerseyville Head Start School.
Responsibilities:
Will provide assistance in the Head Start classroom to children ages 3-5 years old. Will monitor children when being transported on school bus. Must verify that the children are secured safely in their seats.
Requirements:
Early Childhood work experience preferred. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a background check. This is a full time position during the normal school year (August to May). Would be eligible for unemployment during the two summer months off with no disruption in benefits. This position includes excellent benefits and generous vacation, personal and sick time accruals, as well as 11 holidays per year.
