Immediately Job Description Hopedale Public Schools is currently seeking dependable Spare Bus Monitors to assist in the safe transport of students to and from school.ABOUT US
The mission of the Hopedale Public Schools is to enable our students to achieve academic, social, and career success. Our curriculum reflects our small size and mission-driven culture with engaging courses, hands-on learning and opportunities to grow both inside and outside the classroom.- Active monitoring to manage student behavior, de-escalate conflicts, and ensure the center aisle remains clear.
- Assist students with limited mobility during boarding/exiting and lead emergency evacuations via rear doors and roof hatches if necessary.
- Conduct physical sweeps of the bus to ensure all students have exited and no equipment is damaged.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs to secure floor-mounted equipment.
- Ability to redirect student behavior calmly while the vehicle is in motion.
- $18/hour
