Full Job Description TITLE:
School Bus Monitor SALARY:
$19.00 Per Hour per AFSCME contract salary guide Split shift AM and
PM LOCATION
Transportation Office 5
Berry Street HOURS:
25 Hours Per Week
QUALIFICATIONS
Must pass pre-employment physical examination (new employees). Ability to perform the duties of the position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcomes student(s) with a smile. Fastens seat belts. Maintain a safe envioronment. Sits where children can be watched; back or middle of bus. Sits with student(s). Assigns seats as necessary. Solves or reports behavior issues to bus driver who will in turn report to the Supervisor of Transportation. Attends students at all times. Knows the bus routes. Works with the driver as a team. Keeps the bus clean. Assists the bus driver in checking the bus after each and every run, as well as clean the vehicle.
